Harry meets Prongs and Lily
My Pages

Harry was at Hogwarts for his 6th time, casually talking to his best friendds in the world. It was just a few weeks into the school year.
"I have tons of homework to do," said Hermione.
"Proffessor Trelawney gave us a double load for tonight," said Harry with a sigh.
"Honestly, why haven't you two dropped Divination yet?"
"Because we've completely lost our minds," said Ron casually.
Before Harry knew it, he was up in the boy's dormitory thinking about how many people in his life have died. Wishing he could see his parents, and Sirius. Hear their voices. Then, *POOF* Harry was dropping down, down, images were all around him; flying so fast he didn't have but a second to look at them. It was quite a lot like traveling by floo powder. Which is why Harry felt so quesey. Then he landed with a *THUD* on the hard grass outside Hogwarts, but it wasn't nighttime anymore. It was in the morning, probably about 9:00. Breakfast would be starting at about this time, but it couldn't be this early. He was just in his bed thinking. He'd have to ask someone. He started to walk toward the castle. No one in sight. He heard a lot of mixed conversations from the Great Hall though. But he wouldn't be able to find anyone there. So he decided to walk up to the commonroom. When he got up to the fat lady, he said "Bludger."
"Sorry, but that's not the password," said the fat lady.
"That's weird. Did you change it?" asked Harry.
"No, the password has never been 'bludger'," replied the fat lady.
Fortunately, what seemed to be a first year, walked up to the portrait and said, "Are you having trouble getting in? The password is 'troll boogies'." The portrait opened and they climbed through.
"Thanks," said Harry and headed up the spiral staircase into the boy's sixth year dormitory. He walked over to his four-poster bed, but none of his things were there. There was a lot of Zonko's merchandise and at the foot of his bed where his trunk was supposed to be, was a trunk instead of labled 'HP' was labled 'JP'.
"That's strange," said Harry. He looked around the room. THe bed next to that one had just as many Zonko's product as that bed. Another bed had Honeyduke's candy of all kind littered all over it and another bed was much more organized than the others and had a lot of books, and the last bed was empty. Harry was biwilderd.
"I'll go see Dumbledore," Harry said to himself. When he got there, he remembered that he, once again, did not know the password.
"Umm... Fizzing Whizzbies? Chocolate Frogs? Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans?" Suddenly the gargoyle leaped aside and Harry stepped on and waited to get to the top. He stepped inside to see Dumbledore sitting at his desk.
Dumbledore looked up and said,"Ah, Harry. I thought I might be seeing you soon."
"Proffessor, everything is different. My things aren't in my dormitory-"
"Harry, calm down. Let me explain. I have it in my power to travel back in time. I met my future self a few days ago informing me that you would be comng and told me what to tell you. Time is a tricky thing, Harry. You are in the year of your mother and Father's 6th year at Hogwarts. So you can meet them. Know who they are. Do not tell them who you really are, untill the end of next week. Then we will have a Forgetfulness potion ready and they won't remember anything. After that, you will return to your own time, am I clear?"
Harry was dumbstruck, but managed to get out the words, "Yes, Proffessor."
"Good," said Dumbledore. "Now run along. Oh, and here's the classes you will be taking and your things have been brought up to your room." He handed Harry a schedule and Harry walked down to the Entrance Hall. He couldn't believe it. He was going to get to meet his parents. Now he only had to find them. He wasn't hungry, so he decided to go outside. He walked do a tree near the lake, but also near Hagrid's hut and sat down.
"Harry!" someone called. He turned around and saw Hagrid. Obviously, Dumbledore had told him. "Harry, right?" said Hagrid. Harry nodded. "Dumbledore told me that you were an exchange student. If you ever need anything, I'm right down there."
"Sure. Thanks, Hagrid," said Harry. Hagrid obviously didn't really know who he was.
Hagrid looked confused. "Oh! Dumbleore must've tol' ya abou' me. What're you doin down here anyway?"
"Waiting for someone," said Harry.
"Oh. Well I've got to go, Harry, but anytime you'd like to have a cup o' tea, you let me know," said Hagrid, walking off.
"I will Hagrid! Thanks!" Harry called after him. Hagrid smiled and kept walking down to his hut.
Soon, a lot of students were walking by the lake, but it was Saturday, so there wasn't any lessons. No sign of anyone he knew yet, so he waited there for about half an hour.
Then he saw him. James Potter, and the Maurauders. They were walking about 100 yards away and sat down around a tree. Harry had a jolt of excitement go through him. He stood up and started walking up to them. he couldn't contain himself; he ran. Ran for dear life. As he approached them, he slowed down and heard them say, "This'll be good mates."
"Hi!" said Harry. He was grinning from ear to ear. He suddenly felt like Colin Creevry so he stopped.
The Maurauders looked up. "Ummm... hi," said James. "Who are you?" He was a little curious of how he could look just like him.
"I'm Harry Po-" he couldn't use his real name. He'd have to think of something else. "Harry Granger," he said firmly.
"Hi, Granger. What's your buisiness with us?" asked Sirius.
Harry looked at him. He looked so cool. Instead of the ragged man he'd grown up to be. But then he died. Harry missed him so much.
"Well?" Sirius asked again. He had his arms crossed.
"Oh, um, I'd heard about you and I wanted to meet you. I'm an exchange student," said Harry.
"Oh, where from?" asked Remus.
"Umm... from the school over at the place..." Harry said stupidly.
"Ooooook," replied Remus.
"So you're a Griffindor, huh?" asked James.
"Yea, I've just been sorted," Harry lied.
"Cool. You can hang out with us Granger," said Sirius.
"By the way, I'm-" said James.
"Oh, I know who you are," Harry interrupted. "You're James Potter, you're Sirius Black, you're Remus Lupin, and you're," he paused. "Peter Pettigrew."
Sirius whispered to James, "Wow, Prongs, someone actually knows who Wormtail is." James sniggered.

Meanwhile, about 100 yards away, was a girl named Lily Evans, with her friends, Kathleen, Karla, and Reagan. Everyone says that Kathleen should join the Maurauders. She would fit right in because she pranked people almost as much as them. Karla was the responsible one. She and Kathleen rarely got along. She thought Karla was too uptight and homework-bound. And Reagan was the gossip of the group. She was also friends with Bertha Jorkins. If you can call them friends. They sort of put together a little gossip network. When a rumor started, everyone started on them. Lily often said that she would make good friends with her sister, Petunia.
"Hey, Lily," said Kathleen. "Who is that boy talking to Potter?"
Lily looked up. "I don't know. But I could definately mistake him for Potter. If he's arrogant like him, they could be twins."
"He's cute!" said Reagan. Lily rolled her eyes.
"He's alright," she said. Karla wasn't listening to the conversation. She was buried deep in a book.
Back accross the ground, the Maurauders spotted some fun.
"Watch and learn," James said to Harry. He and Sirius walked over to a boy with greasy black hair.
"Hello, Snivellous," said James. Snape hadn't seen them yet but when he heard Jame's voice, he rolled his eyes and turned to look at them.
"What do you want, Potter?" Snape said in a disgusted tone.
"Oh, I don't know. What do we want, Padfoot?" said James.
"Well, Prongs, we just want a little fun, is all," said Sirius. Harry could smell a fight comming on.
Obviously, Lily could too because she put down her books and started to walk over. Her friends stayed behind.
"Expelliarmus!" yelled James as he pointed his wand at Snape. Snape's wand went flying out of his hand.
Lily started running. "Petrificus-" James shouted. "Stop James!" cried someone. But it wasn't Lily. It was Harry. He knew what it felt like to be picked on for no reason. And he'd seen this before. Snape wouldn't hate him so much if this stuff wouldn't happen.
Lily stopped; so did James. "What're you talking about, Granger?" said James.
"I know what it's like to be picked on for no apparant reason. No matter what kind of person Snape is, he doesn't deserve it. No one deserves that," said Harry. He was very brave about this.
Lily looked at Harry. She was astounded. "He's right, Potter! Leave Severus alone!" said Lily. Everyone turned to her. This was the first time she had been seen by the boys.
"And what if I don't, Evans? Going to turn me in to Proffessor McGonnagall, are you?" said James. Sirius snigggered.
"It probably wouldn't put a dent in his record," said Sirius. James popped him on the side of the head. "OW! What was that for?"
James rolled his eyes. Lily giggled under her hand. James had a thought. "Well, Evans, I would of course stop if you would-"
"Go out with you?" Lily finished his sentence. "Dream on, Potter!"
"Crucio!" James started to wriggle in pain. Snape had reached for his wand and wanted revenge.
"Expelliarmus!" yelled Harry and Snapes wand went flying out of his hand. Snape made a reach for it, then, "Petrificus Totalus!" Snape was as stiff as a board. James had come out of his state and was patting Harry on the back.
"Well done, Granger!" he said. But Harry was looking at Lily. Everyone was right: Her eyes were the same as his. He walked up to her and James stared after him.
"Hi," said Harry to his very much younger mother. He was crying silently.
"Hi," she said,"what's wrong?"
"Oh," he said and wiped his eye, "Nothing."
She stared at him. "Hi, I'm Lily Evans."
"I know," he said. "I-I mean, nice to meet you." He almost blew it.
She smiled. "What's your name?"
"Harry Po-, uhh... Granger," he said. He was loosing his grip. It was like he was in a trance.
"Cool," She said. "Hey, do you want to go to Hogsmeade with me today? You do know what Hogsmeade is, right?"
"Oh, yeah, I heard about it," said Harry. "Sure, I'll go with you."
She smiled. "Great. Well, meet me at the entrance at 2:00, okay?"
"Okay," he replied. She jogged back to her friends. James looked dumbstruck. He'd been asking her out for years! And all of a sudden this boy that looks exactly like him comes and gets a date with her in TWO MINUTES! He couldn't believe it!
When Lily got over to the girls, Reagan said, "Ooooh! What happened?"
"She asked that new guy to go to Hogsmeade with her today," said Kat with a grin. All the girls stared at her open-mouthed.
"How did you know that?" asked Lily.
"I have my ways," grinned Kat tapping her fingers together.
"Yes! I'm done! Whoo-Hoo!!!" yelled Karla. Everyone jumped. She jumped up and started dancing. They all looked at her like she was really weird. Then she jumped back to the ground. "So what did he say?"
"Well, he said yes," said Lily, still freaked out at what Karla had just done.
"Alright girl!" said Reagan. "So, what's his name?"
"Harry Granger,"said Lily.
"Granger, eh?" said Kat thoughtfully. "Sounds like a muggle name."
"Huh. Well, maybe he's muggleborn," said Lily.
"You should ask him, Lily," suggested Karla. "Maybe your parents know his parents."
"Good idea, Karla!" said Lily.
"As always," said Karla with a smile.
Over where the Marauders were, James was amazed with him.
"How did you do that, Granger?" said James with his mouth open.
He's just jealous," Sirius said to Harry. "He's been asking her out for years." He patted Harry on the back. Harry smiled.
"Shut up, Padfoot!" said James and smacked Sirius on the side of the head again.
"Stop it!" cried Sirius and started swatting at James and yelled, "Run away!" and jumped behind Remus. "Hide me, Moony! He's going to get me!"
Remus rolled his eyes and continued reading. "Aww, you're no fun, Moony!" said Sirius as he crossed his arms.
Harry started busting out laughing.
"Shut up, Granger!" said James and popped him on the side of the head too.
"OW! What was that for?" said Harry just as Sirius had done.
"Oh, nevermind!" cried James aggitatedly.

Now, Harry started to think about what he had done. He had a date with his own mother! Harry started to feel sick. This could make things complicated.
"Hey guys, whatcha think about that hot girl over there?" asked Sirius and jerked his head in the direction of Lily and her friends.
Remus looked up and seemed to be in a trance. "She's AWSOME!"
Sirius spoke. "Yea, her name's Kat Ynchausti."
"Kat Ynchausti?" asked Remus snapping out of his trance. "Yea, she's really nice."
Sirius looked at him in astonishment. "What do you mean? Who were you talking about?"
Remus started to look anxious. "UMM! No one!" he said while gathering his books. "Just a mistake. I've got to go," and with that he headed up to the castle.
"OHHH!" Peter whined. "Now who's going to help me with my homework?"
James ignored him. "So, what's up with him?" he asked as Peter continued to whine.
"Wormtail's always been a whining git," said Sirius cooly.
"No! I mean Moony," said James.
"Dunno. Full moon?" asked Sirius.
James looked at Harry. "Sirius! Not around outsiders!"
Harry hadn't noticed that he was listening to anything that was supposed to be odd for him. "Oh! Don't mind me!"
James turned back to Sirius and shook his head. "Not until next month."
Sirius replied, " Than it's a girl."
Harry looked at Sirius to ask him a question. "Hey, Sirius? Did you leave home?"
Sirius looked at Harry with great suprise. "Ummm...ya. I left my horrible mother's home and went to live with James last summer. But how did you know that?"
Harry looked nervous. "Err... I've heard rumors."
"Oh. Well, as long as it doesn't get too far down the grapevine. I don't want people to think I'm some kind of crazy person. Well, you would have to be crazy to stay in that house," said Sirius.
"But you are a crazy person, Padfoot," said James.
"Oh, yeah..." said Sirius thoughtfully.
"UGH! Where's my snitch?" cried James searching about in his pockets. "I remember! I left it up in the dorm!" he pulled out his wand, "ACCIO SNITCH!" A golden snitch came flying from the boy's dormitory window and soared into James' outstretched hand. He started letting it fly away and catching it before it got too far.
"He's obbsessed!" Sirius whispered to Harry. "And he's not even seeker! He's a Chaser!"
"Shut up, Padfoot!" said James.
Sirius pulled out his wand and pointed it at James. "Don't you touch me, Prongs."
James rolled his eyes and looked at Harry. "And speaking of Quidditch, our seeker had a family emergengy and will be gone for a few weeks. So that means there's an open seeker position. You any good, Granger?"
"I'm okay," Harry grinned. "Who's caption?"
"Me," said James.
"What?" said Harry with astonished delight on his face. His father was quidditch caption!
"Yea," said James looking very pleased with himself. "None of the other players have enough experience"
Sirius rolled his eyes. "Shut up, Prongs!" said Sirius and smacked James over the head.
James clenched the snitch tightly in his hand and snarled at him."OKAY! That's getting really old!" yelled James while rubbing his head. Harry sniggered under his breath.
----------------------------------------------------------
Karla looked up from talking to Kat. "What are they doing?"she said watching the boys. "They have a serious problem with hitting each other over the head!" The girls laughed.
"Speaking of boys," said Kat. "Who do you like, Karla?"
"Me? I dunno. Not much choice," she said.
"Yea, but if you had to chose," said Kat.
"You are way too curious, you know that?"
"I know. But seriously," said Kat.
"Yea, Karla. Who do you like?" said Reagan curiously.
"Well, If I had to pick, I guess I kinda like Remus Lupin," said Karla.
Kat sighed. "I'm disappointed," and she turned away towards Lily.
"Why?" asked Karla almost looking hurt.
"Well, he might be a marauder, but he's a total stiff," answered Kat.
Karla looked offended. "Well, Kat, like me, Remus knows he has priorities! Unlike some people I know!" she said hotly and stormed off.
"Wait, Karla!" yelled Lily. Lily gave Kat an accusing look. Kat shrugged and walked over to the Marauders. Lily was fuming.
"Well," said Reagan getting up. "Got to go," and she walked over to Bertha Jorkins.
Lily looked abandoned. NOw, realising that she was sitting all alone on the ground, she stormed toward the castle. She walked past the Marauders and James spotted her.
"Lily, what's wrong?" asked James worriedly. Lily kept walking.
"She's angry with me," said Kat with a grin. Lily paused for a moment without turning her head, then kept walking. She looked a lot like a British soldier. Harry wanted to say something to her, but James got up and he couldn't interfere.
James hopped right in front of her, blocking her way. "Lily, don't mind Kat, she's just-"
"Save it, Potter," snapped Lily. "And whatever happened to Evans?" she said and walked off, leaving an open-mouthed James.
"Whatever, Evans!" said James angrilly, and sat down. "I can never figure her out!"
"And you never will, mate," said Sirius patting him on the shoulder.
----------------------------------------------------------
Karla entered the library. She walked over to an open table and sat down. She sighed and glanced over to the table next to her and noticed there was a boy sitting there. It was Remus. She immediately looked back down at the books she had laid out. Suddenly, a 4th year girl ran up to Remus and whispered in his ear. Karla's cheeks turned red. So did Remus' once the girl walked off. Karla was biwildered. What did she say to him? Remus looked her way, but his entire face turned scarlet and they both looked down. Remus looked like he was thinking. Then he got up and walked in her direction. Karla noticed and pretended like she didn't notice him adn her entire face turned crimson.
"Uh, H-Hi, Karla," said Remus nervously. She looked up at him, trying to keep her face a normal color.
"H-Hi," she said. "What did that girl say to you?"
He turned scarlet again. "Oh. Nothing."
(the truth was that Reagan told Bertha Jorkins about Karla liking Remus, who told the girl, who is in turn going around telling everyone a.k.a Rumor Network)
He looked Really nervous. "I was wondering, would you like to go with me to Hogsmeade today?"
She was stunned. "Err... of course!" she said.
He made a grin so big, that it wouldn't even be compared to Colin Creevery. "Great!"
She giggled. "Would you like to join me?"
"Err... sure," he said and carried his books over to her table.
----------------------------------------------------------
It was time for Hogsmeade. Everyone was walking toward the entrance. Harry walked with Sirius, James and Wormtail toward the entrance to meet their dates. Well, at least most of them had dates. Kat had departed earlier to get ready. She and Sirius were going together.
Once they got to the entrance, they waited for the girls to meet them. Then, they saw Remus walking with Karla, hand-in-hand. They were both beaming. After they walked past them, Sirius, open-mouthed, said "THAT'S who he was talking about!"
Harry and James looked at him like he was the dumbest thing in the world. "NAW! YA THINK?" they said sarcastically.
Soon, a girl walked up. Harry thought she was very pretty. She looked to be about a 7th year, had brown straight hair, and had a very colorful and fasionable outfit. Harry, Sirius, and Peter watched open-mouthed as she walked up to James.
"Are you ready?" she asked him.
"Sure," he said beaming. He looked around at the others. "What? Everyone, this is Chatta Frederic. She just transferred here from America." He looked at him as if they weren't showing very good manners. "Well, bye then." They walked through the entrance and were out of sight.
"You know, I heard there is going to be a bunch of transferr students from America this year," said Sirius.
"Ever been there?" asked Harry.
"Nah, I heard it's cool though," answered Sirius.
"Ooh! I've been there!" said Wormtail excitedly. "With my mum! We went to Houston, Texas! We saw some deserts along the way, but there was normal neighborhoods there. And muggle cars drive on the opposite side of the road!"
"You shock us with information, Wormtail," said Sirius sarcastically.
Then, Kat approached them wearing a knee-length skirt, a tight royal blue long-sleeved shirt, and her cloak. Sirius' eyes almost popped out of his head.
"Wow, Kat! You look great!" Sirius said.
She laughed. "Thanks. So do you. Shall we go then?" she asked.
"Of course," he said and they walked off hand-in-hand.
Harry was getting impatient. Lily was taking a long time. Then Harry noticed Wormtail across from him leaning on the wall.
"What are you still doing here?" Harry snapped at him.
He gasped in fright and shock at being spoken to. "Err... actually, I don't know," he said and walked into Hogsmeade.
Harry was left alone. Just then, he saw Lily walking towards the entrance. She looked beautiful. Harry suddenly felt disgusted with himself. EEWW! GROSS! he thought.
"Hi Lily," said Harry.
"Hi Harry," she said and smiled."Where should we go first?" they started walking toward the village.
"I dunno. We can go to the Three Broomsticks," he said.
"Alright," They walked inside. They saw several other couples they knew but they walked to a separate table instead.
"Do you want some Butterbeer?" Harry asked her.
"Sure," she said and he walked toward the bar. He came back with two steaming glasses of Butterbeer and set them down on the table.
"So, Lily, what do you think of James?" asked Harry.
She looked slightly alarmed. "Potter? I think he's a foul loathsome little cockroach!"
Harry looked wide-eyed. "You're way too much like Hermione," he mumbled to himself.
"What was that?" she asked.
"Oh, I said 'Sorry I asked'. But, you don't think he's-"
"No," she said as if this ended the conversation. "He's not my type."
"But I'm sure if you gave him a chance-"
"Forget it!" she snapped. There was an awkward silence between them.
"I'm sorry," she said.
"No, I'm sorry," Harry said. "I shouldn't have said anything.
"It's okay," she said. They smiled at each other. "You know, oddly enough, you look just like him."
"I've noticed. It's a strange concept," he said. They laughed.
When they finished their Butterbeer, they strolled outside together.
"So, Harry, I was thinking, are your parents muggles?" she asked him not knowing what hurt it would bring to him. He was shocked at first because it caught him off-guard asdn then he went into a stage of saddness. "dead," he said quietly.
"What?" she said.
"They're dead. Both of them," he repeated.
"Oh, Harry! I'm so sorry! You must think I'm awful!" she said grabbing his arm.
"No, It's not your fault. You didn't know. And no, they weren't muggles. They were an amazing wizard and witch."
"If you don't mind me asking, what happened to them?" said Lily cautiously.
"They were murdered," he said.
"Oh, Harry! That's so horrible!" she said and placed her head on his arm.
Harry looked down at her and saw the crazed love James has for her. She doesn't realise how good James is for her. He also realised now that she really likes him, Harry. He wouldn't let himself mess up what will happen later on. He vowed to himself that he would make her see that James is the one for her. If it was the last thing he did
----------------------------------------------------------
Harry walked into the boy's dormitory and sat down on his bed. James was the only other one in the room. He looked up and noticed Harry. "So Granger, how was your date with Evans?"
"Oh, it was okay," he said,"How was your date with Chatta?"
"Great. She's fantastic," he said.
Harry was silent for a moment."James, why don't you think Lily likes you?"
James glared at him. "She likes me. She just hasn't realized it yet," he answered.
"Yeah, but, why do you think she always says no when you ask her out?" he said.
"Beats me! I don't know why she won't say yes! Any girl in this entire school would do anything for me to ask them out! Lily's different! And that's what I like about her! I suppose I could be a bit more sensitive-"
"Exactly! If you like her, DO something about it! Like you said, Lily's different! And she's not going to changd her mind and give in because you keep bugging her with that 'will you go out with me' crap! If you really care for her, be a gentleman and sweep her off her feet!" Harry said hotly.
James crossed his arms and gave a questionable smile. "Why would you want to help me? I thought you liked her?"
Harry laughed. "Let's just say, I could never like her that way."
"Whatever. 'Night Granger," said James crawling into bed.
Harry rolled his eyes. "'Night James," he said and crawled under the covers himself.
Harry thought very deeply before drifting off into sleep. They have no clue that they are going to die at the hands of Lord Voldemort. But Harry didn't know that Lilian Evans had a gift.
----------------------------------------------------------
Lily was in deep sleep dreaming of her future...
"Congradulations, Mrs. Lily. It's a boy," said a healer at St. Mungo's.
"He's so adorable, Isn't he?" said Lily gazing down at the little boy in her arms.
"Yes, he's just like his dad," laughed a mysterious man standing beside her.
She laughed. "Yes, he is," she said and kissed the man. "I think we should name him Harry."
"That's a great name," said the man.
Lily woke up sweating. It was just a dream, Lily she assured herself. She shook it off and realised it was morning and all the girls had gone down to breakfast. She quickly dressed and headed down too. When she got there, she sat next to Karla, Remus, and Harry.
Once they finished reading, Dumbledore stood up to make an anouncement. The room fell silent.
"Students! This year, we have several transfer students from the United States of America coming to Hogwarts. They are arriving tomorrow morning and shall be sorted at that time. I expect you all to be here to welcome our guests. Have a good day!" Dumbledore sat down and the room refilled with noise.
"Ooh!This will be so exciting!" said Lily.
"Yes, I've always wanted to see America," said Karla. "I wonder what it's like there?"
"Bet it's amazing," said Remus.
"So, Lily, have you finished your essay yet?" asked Karla as they walked outside the castle.
Lily sighed. "Nearly. I've just been so distracted lately."
"Do you think you could be having-" said Karla.
"I don't think so. They've never been this far ahead. I think I'm just making them up," said Lily.
"Well, you never know..." said Karla shrugging.
"What are you too talking about?" asked Remus looking confused.
"Nothing," they said together.
Harry and Remus, Harry looking just as confused as Remus, looked at each other and shrugged.
While they were walking, James ran up to them. "Hey, Granger! Seeker try-outs at 1:00!"
"I'll be there! said Harry. James gave him the thumbs-up and ran away.
"Ooh, Harry! You're trying out for seeker? Hope you make it!" said Lily.
"Thanks," said Harry.
----------------A few decades later-----------------------

Ron and Hermione were so lost without Harry.
"Harry's been gone for days! Why hasn't he come back yet?" asked Hermione frantically.
"Relax, Hermione! Dumbledore said that Harry's on a mission and is safe!" said Ron, trying to reassure her.
"But I still worry about him. I hope he's alright," she said calming down.
"He's just fine," said Ron.
When, suddenly, they felt very strange. They were swooping down the very same vortex that Harry had. They were both screaming their heads off.
They landed on the ground with a thud outside Hogwarts, Hermione landing on top of Ron.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," she said getting off of him and helping him up.
"Don't worry," said Ron brushing himself off, his ears going pink. (I couldn't help but add thatcept its different people)
"What was that?" asked Hermione.
"I don't know- where are we?" said Ron just as confused.
"Well, we're outside Hogwarts, but I don't know how or why," she answered.
Suddenly, she saw a farmilliar face. Harry was walking along the lake with several other people. But all she cared about was him.
"Ron! Look!" she yelled pointing to Harry.
Ron squinted. "Harry?"
She ran towards him like a crazy person.
Harry looked up and noticed them. "Hermione?" he said as she ran. She threw herself onto him in a hug that nearly knocked him flat.(i cannot take credit for this sentence because it came strait out the book. i just couldn't think of anything better)
"Oh, Harry! It's so good to see you!" she said as she kissed his cheek. Lily looked furious.
"It's good to see you too!" he said hugging her back. "but, what are you doing here?"
"That's the thing! We have no clue!" she answered as a panting Ron jogged up beside them and putting his hands on his knees.
"Hey Harry," said Ron nearly out of breath.
"Hey Ron," said Harry letting go of Hermione. "Listen, can I talk to them privately?" he said to the others.
"Sure," said Remus and Karla, but Lily said, "Whatever." Harry ignored this and brought them out of earshot of anyone who might want to overhear.
"Listen, we are in my mum and dad's time. You know, when they went to school," he said quietly.
"What? Harry, that's impossible! You can't travel that far back in time!" said Hermione.
"Dumbledore has. And he's the one who brought me here. But I can't explain why you're here," said Harry.
"Harry, this is crazy!" said Ron. "Oh, I know! I'm having a dream..." and he went into a dreamlike state.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, Ron, but this isn't a dream," said Harry.
"Whatever you say, Harry," said Ron looking up at the sky,"any minute now I'll see a giant spider and wake up."
Harry rolled his eyes. "Hermione, you believe me, right?"
Silently, she nodded. "But Harry, this isn't right. Time travel isn't supposed to work this way!"
"Hermione, for once in your life, don't worry about it! C'mon. I want you to meet some people," said Harry and led them over to Lily and the others.
"Hermione, Ron, this is Lily," he said winking.
"Oh my god! It's so nice to meet you!" Hermione said taking her hand and shaking it. Ron did the same.
"Remus Lupin..." Harry said pointing.
Hermione had a grin across her face. "It's good to meet you too!" she said shaking his hand as well.
"Hey man," said Ron shaking Remus' hand.
"Hello," said Remus.
"And this is Karla, Remus' girlfriend," said Harry.
"Hi. Nice to meet you," said Hermione shaking her hand as well.
"Hey, guys! What's going on?" asked James walking up to them.
Harry saw him and pointed. "Oh, and this is James," he said grinning.
"Who are your friends?" James asked him looking at Hermione.
"Oh, I'm Hermione Granger, and this is Ron," she said smiling at him.
"Oh, cousins?" asked James.
"Me and Ron?" she asked confused.
Harry hit himself on the forehead to show she was blowing it. But she didn't see him.
"No, you and Harry," said James. Lily felt some relief. She was terribly jealous of her.
"Err...what do you mean?" she asked, still confused.
"His last name's Granger," he said pointing to Harry.
Hermione looked over at Harry, who was shaking his head furiously.
"Oh! What I meant was... Hermione Granger...Rowling! My middle name is Granger," she said. Harry sighed with relief.
"Oh, well, nice to meet you," he said shaking her hand. "You too, Ron," he said and shook his hand too. He walked off towards Chatta.
"See ya!" said Ron dully.
Lily and the others started to walk off. "You comming, Harry?" she called after him.
"No! I think I'll hang around for a bit!" he called back to them.
"Okay," she looked disappointed and walked off with the others.
"Harry! You should've told me that you were using my last name! And... why did you use my last name?" asked Hermione.
"Sorry! It just slipped my mind! And it was the first muggle name I could think of!" he said. He really didn't feel like arguing with her.
"Alright, alright. So, Ron, you weren't very enthusiastic to meet the young Marauders," she said.
"Well, it's not real and I want to end the dream before something bad happens," he said plainly.
"Ron! For the last time! YOU ARE NOT DREAMING! THIS IS REALITY!" yelled Harry getting irritated.
"Are you serious?" Ron asked.
"No, that would be me," said Sirius walking toward them, his hand around Kat's shoulder
"Ha ha," said Harry dryly, "Very funny, Sirius."
"Oh my god! Is that really Sirius?" asked Ron gaping at him.
"Did you hear a word i just said? A bit thick isn't he?" Sirius said, "Who's your attractive and... not so attractive friend, Granger?"
Hermione blushed. "Ron, actually," said Ron. Sirius was annoying him.
Kat got out of Sirius' grip adn said, "Sirius, I'll meet you over by that tree, okay?"
"Alright," he said and kissed her on the cheek and she walked off.
"And I'm Hermione," she said and shook Sirius' hand.
"Sirius," he said.
"Nice to meet you," Hermione said grinning. She obviously noticed how hot he was.
"Well, if anyone needs me, I'll be over there snogging my girlfriend. Tootles!" He said walking towards Kat.
"Boy, he changed," said Hermione blushing.
"Well, you would change too if you'd been locked up in Azkaban for 12 years," said Ron.
"That makes sense," she said crossing her arms, disappointed that she didn't think of that. "So, Harry, what's been happening while we weren't here?"
"Oh, well, let's see...not much...just, Lily is denying that she could ever like James, and she likes me," he said calmly.
Ron and Hermione looked wide-eyed at him. "Harry, that's just...wrong!" said Ron. Harry rolled his eyes.
"Harry, I won't say that I don't agree with him, but there are more important things. You could mess up your parent's relationship and you could never be born! Time is a twisted, complicated thing, Harry! You really shouldn't be interfering! And I'm surprised at Dumbledore for letting you!" said Hermione anxiously.
She was bothering him. She was speaking to him like he was a child. "You think I haven't thought of that? Plus, Dumbledore will give everyone a forgetfullness potion once we leave! Don't worry about it! Everything will be fine!"
She sighed. "Well, I guess it's alright then," she said. "Anything else happen?"
"Oh, yeah, transferr students from America are coming tomorrow," he said.
"Oh, well, of course I already knew that," she said calmly.
"What? How would you know that?" said Ron.
"RON! I'VE READ 'HOGWARTS A HISTORY 15 BLOODY TIMES AFTER ALL!" she yelled at him. "WOULDN'T YOU THINK THAT SOMETHING LIKE THAT WOULD BE IN THERE?"
He looked scared, but then just shook it off. She's yelled at him so many times it hasn't really phased him.
"I can't wait, though! It's going to be so exciting, isn't it?" Hermione said, turning very piped up.
"I suppose so," said Harry. "Wonder what they'll be like."
"So, Hermione, what kind of schools do they have in America?" asked Ron.
"Well, there's not many, since the United States is a very busy and nosy place, but they do manage to get a school in each district and in Canada. The south school is called 'The Southern University of Magic', The north school is called 'Oakwood Academy', the eastern school is called 'Bluebell University', the western school is called 'Washington Witchcraft Academy', you see, George Washington, their first president, was an undercover wizard, and the Canadian school is called 'Red Leaf University," she said without taking a breath.
"How do you REMEMBER this stuff?" asked Ron with his mouth open. She shrugged.
"Harry, don't you think that we   should go see Dumbledore about us being here? It is sort of strange," said Hermione.
"I guess so," he said and they walked toward the castle. When they finally reached the entrance to Dumbledore's office, Harry firmly said, "Bertie Bott's Every flavor beans!" and the gargole leaped aside to let them through. They knocked on his door.
"Come in!" called Dumbledore from the other side of the door. They pushed open the door and Harry walked in ahead of them.
"Err...Proffessor? Do you know why Ron and Hermione are here?" he asked awkwardly.
"I beg your pardon?" he asked curiously.
Harry scratched his ear and stepped beside the door so they were visable. They waved at him.
"Ahhh..." said Dumbledore, observing them. "These are your friends, am I correct?"
Harry nodded. "Yes sir," he said.
"Well, as to why they are here I am not certain," he said. "But I'm pretty certain now that there is more children to transport it will be harder to get you back to your own time." He paused and as he saw their wide-eyed, open-mouthed stares, he added, "But I'll try to work out something. And until then, I want you to go about your buissiness as usual. Am I clear?"
"Yes sir," said Harry and followed Ron and Hermione out the door.
Once they were in the hallway again, Ron said, "'Go about your buissiness as usual?'" he had a look that suggested that Dumbledore was crazy. "That's kind of hard to do seeing as we're IN A DIFFERENT TIME!" He shook his head.
"Chill out, Ron. Anyway, we have to pretend like we're NOT in a different time!" said Hermione almost yelling.
"SHHH!" said Harry glaring at her, "Lower your voice!" he whispered.
She jumped. "Sorry," she said looking down.
Harry soon departed for seeker try-outs. There wasn't much competition because only two other students were there. They also were very poor at it. Harry would just have to wait and see.
Before he knew it, it was time for bed and to wake up in the excitement of the sorting the next morning. Ron was shaking Harry awake.
"C'mon, Harry! We don't want to be late!" he yelled shaking him furiously.
"Alright! Alright! I'm up!" came Harry's muffled voice from under the covers and he was swatting Ron's arm away.
They walked down to the Great Hall together to find everyone there. The sorting was about to start. They sat down next to Lily, Remus, and Karla and started chatting with each other. Before they got into deep conversation, Dumbledore tapped his goblet and stood up. The room fell silent.
"Good morning, students! The students comming from America have just arrived and the sorting will begin momentarily. I expect you to be on your best behaivior and respectful to our guests. Now, let the sorting begin!" he clapped his hands and sat down. At that moment, Proffessor McGonnagal walked through the doors carrying the 4-legged stool with the sorting hat, while being followed by 20 or so students. She walked down to the front of the room, set down the stool, and stood beside it while opening a scroll.
She cleared her throat. "Justin Braud!" she called. The boy who was in the front of the line walked up and sat on the stool. Harry noticed that the boy had black hair and had long cideburns. He also looked to be a seventh year. The hat was placed on his head and took a few minutes before ringing out, "RAVENCLAW!" There was a very loud clapping comming from the Ravenclaw table as he went to sit down.
"Chanie Frederic!" yelled McGonnagal. Harry looked at her and realised that the girl was very pretty. She had straight, blonde hair that went down to mid-back. She was also very skinny and tall. "RAVENCLAW!" there was an even louder cheer coming from Ravenclaw. Mostly from the boys.
"Chatta Frederic!" of course, Harry knew Chatta already. He wondered if Chatta and Chanie were sisters.
"Kyleah Frederic!" As this girl walked up, Harry saw that she wasn't nearly as tall as the first girl, nor did she have blonde or brown hair. Her hair was bright red, and she had freckles. Harry could seriously mistaked her for a Weasley. "GRYFFINDOR!" yelled the hat after no time at all. She grinned as she walked up to the screaming and clapping Gryffindors.
"Ashleigh Griffen!" This girl had caremel brown hair with gold highlights and it went down to her elbows. "GRYFFINDOR!"
"Lindsay Harrell!" This girl was also very pretty. Her hair was in a sloppy bun and was brown. She looked like she could smile a mile. "GRYFFINDOR!"
"Britney Langley!" She had dirty blonde hair with brown roots and her hair was half-up. "RAVENCLAW!"
"Bristol Parish!" This girl was very skinny and had light-brown hair. "RAVENCLAW!"
"Amber Pellerin!" Looking at these girls, Harry was sure he could assume all American girls were very pretty. She had dirty blonde hair that was half-up and he thought she had a very nice figure. "GRYFFINDOR!"
"Christy Ryan!" She had mid-back length, wavy, beach blonde hair. "GRYFFINDOR!"
"Tyler Sanchez!" This boy also had black hair. Either that ot it was a very dark brown. He was very short, though. Harry noticed that there was only about three boys there. "RAVENCLAW!"
Hermione was clapping and shaking her head. "Not that I'm not excited, but it's sort of strange that everyone's Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, isn't it?" she said.
"I don't know. Maybe all Americans are either smart or brave," said Harry shrugging.
"A country with no Slytherins?" said Ron. "Count me in!"
"Raegan Sheets!" a skinny, dirty blonde, short haired girl with thick, black-rimmed glasses walked up and sat on the stool. After barely any time, the hat rang out, "SLYTHERIN!" The Slytherins broke out of their bored chattering into loud cheering.
Harry hit his forehead. "I spoke too soon! Looks like there's always an evil one in every bunch!" he said.
"Harry! You don't even know her!" said Hermione, disappointed at him.
"If it's a Slytherin, it can't be good," said Ron.
Hermione kept shaking her head.
"Cristina Sobiagh!" Harry looked over at Ron as his eyes nearly popped out of his head. She was gorgeous. She had copper hair that was up in a ponytail but Harry could tell that her hair went down to her knees. Hermione's irritated face glanced over at Ron and waved in his face. "RAVENCLAW!"
"Kathryn Viel!" She had shoulder length, brown hair that was in a ponytail. "HUFFLEPUFF!" The Hufflepuff table suddenly awakened and cheered very loudly.
"Olivia Wagner!" this girl had light brown hair in a ponytail with thin-rimmed glasses. "RAVENCLAW!"
Ron sighed. "Damn smart people." Hermione glared at him.
"Jarrett Wells!" Harry looked around him and saw that almost every girl at Gryffindor table was in a dream-like state. Including...HERMIONE?
"Hermione!" Harry whispered.
She jumped and stared at him. "Sorry."
He looked back up at the boy with dark brown hair. 'He's not that good looking' he thought and crossed his arms. "GRYFFINDOR!" Everyone at the Gryffindor table cheered except for Harry and Ron.
"Kirstyn Westerfield!" She had blonde hair that went down to mid-back. She,too, was very pretty. "GRYFFINDOR!"
"Keira Wonders!" She had brown hair with light brown highlights that was mid-back length. "HUFFLEPUFF!"
McGonnagall rolled up her scroll and went to sit down behind the teacher's table. Dumbledore stood up. "Now, you have all been given your schedules. Classes begin in roughly 10 minutes. If you need help, just ask on of your classmates and I'm sure they'll help you! Oh, yes, and also, there will be a welcome dance this Friday, for more information, see your house noticeboards. Good day to you all!" They all bustled about and everyone got to their feet to exit the Great Hall.
Once they entered the Entrance Hall, everyone was louder than usual, if that's possible. Harry saw some of the new students go up to people for instructions.
"HEY!HEY!" Someone called from behind them. Harry turned around to see the short, redhead girl running toward them. "Hey, I'm Kyleah." He could now see her freckles extra close. "I was just wondering if you could tell me where my classes are, cause I don't know where the heck I am."
"Err...sure. Whatcha got?" Harry said back to her.
"Well," she said looking at her schedule. "I've got double Potions, then defence against the dark arts, Charms, then umm... NEWTS preperation."
Harry was looking at his schedule too. "Oh, well, looks like you've got the same classes as me. Just follow us," he said.
"Thanks," she said looking up at him.
"Sure. So, where are you from?" he asked.
"America," she said laughing lightly.
Harry rolled his eyes. "I know, but where in America?" he asked.
She laughed again. "Southern U. I'm from Louisiana," she said.
"Oh, that's nice," he said rubbing the back of his neck.
"You have no clue where that is, do you?" she said looking at him.
"No idea," he said laughing. "Wait a minute, who are we with for double potions?" He looked down at his list. "Slytherins!" he said, outraged.
"What's wrong with Slytherins?" she asked, confused.
Ron, who had been listening to their conversation, leaned over Harry and peered at her wide-eyed. "What's wrong with Slytherins?" he said outraged. "They're an only-pure blood, cocky, preppy, bag of-"
"RON!" yelled Hermione from over his shoulder.
"I was going to say scum," he said.
"Huh," said Kyleah, stumped. "I wonder why Raegan was put in Slytherin. I've known her forever and I'm pretty sure she's not like that."
"She's your friend?" asked Ron.
"Well, yeah, we went to school together and the school wasn't separated like this," she said, a little annoyance in her tone.
"Hey, KY KY!" someone yelled. It was Raegan, holding a japanese comic book, along with the skinny, light brown haired girl.
"Hey, Raegan!" said Kyleah. They ran up to them and walked beside them.
"What's up Kyleah?" said the other girl. Harry could see her braces.
"And who's your friends?" said Raegan.
"Guys, this is...oh, my god, I never asked your name!" Kyleah said blushing.
"Oh, it's alright," said Harry. "I'm Harry, and this is Ron, and Hermione."
"This is my friends, Raegan and Bristol," said Kyleah pointing.
"Nice to meet you," said Harry and Ron.
"Likewise," said Raegan. "So, have any of you read Chobits?"
They mumbled a no. Raegan could feel some unwelcome vibes.
"Whatevs. I'm going to walk with some of the Slytherins. You commin' Bristol? Kyleah?" she said coldly.
"Wish I could but this is my turn," said Bristol pointing. "I've got a different class than you guys."
"And I think I'll walk with them, Raegan. I'll see you later!" said Kyleah. Bristol turned and Raegan went to walk with the Slytherins.
As they walked in the potions classroom, Kyleah went to a table by herself and Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked to another table.
"You guys can sit together," said Ron. "I'm gonna go sit by the cutie." Harry raised his eyebrows as Ron walked over to Kyleah's table and sat down flirtedly. Kyleah was blushing furiously. Harry sniggered and sat down next to Hermione.
"What?" she said giggling. Harry pointed over to Ron with his thumb. "I think they'd make a cute couple," she said.
The room was silenced when a man walked in. He had a round face with a goutee. He also had white/grey hair braided in the back.
"Hello, class! For those of you who don't know me, I am Proffessor Occulty and I am your Potions teacher."
Most of the Gryffindor girls tried to get a seat in the front. But it wasn't because they wanted to pay attention to Proffessor Occulty. Harry saw that in the center of the girls was Jarrett Wells. Harry rolled his eyes and glanced over at Hermione who noticed it too. He could tell she was itching to get a closer seat.
"Hermione! I can't believe you are goggling over that Jarrett guy!" Harry whispered to her.
"I am NOT! Besides, you don't even know him!" she whispered back.
"Neither do you!" he snapped.
"Well, at least I assume good things! You assume he is a bad person!" her voice was growing louder.
"Children!" yelled Occulty. Hermione blushed and sank lower in her seat. "Now, does anyone know what the most powerful liquid known to wizard-kind?"
"Root beer!" said Jarrett loudly. Everyone laughed but Harry was so confused.
"That wasn't funny," he said to himself.
After class, Harry walked with Hermione down the hall, headed for Defence Against the Dark Arts. Ron was walking with Kyleah. All of a sudden, James ran up to him and stopped him.
"Well, Granger, you made it. Come for practice tomorrow and Wednesday, and Thursday is the game against Slytherin," he said.
"Great," said Harry. "Hermione, I need to talk to James, I'll see you later, alright?"
"Sure," she said and walked off.
"So, whats up, Granger?" asked James curiously.
"Are you planning on asking anyone to the dance?" said Harry mischieviously.
"ACK! That's my problem! I really like Chatta but I really want to ask Lily!" he said.
"Want some advice?" said Harry.
"Anything!" he said desperately.
"Ask Lily first," he said. "Tell her she was your first choice. Say that she'd have a good time and you have no intention of being a jerk."
"Hmm...that might work. Thanks a lot," he said gratefully.
"Anytime," said Harry.
"So, Granger, who are you going to ask to the dance?" asked James.
"Oh, I don't know," he said shrugging. "I haven't really thought about it."
"Why don't you ask Hermione?" asked James.
"Hermione?" said Harry shocked and wide-eyed. "She's me best friend!"
James shrugged. "Just an idea," he said.
"Come on, Defence Against the Dark Arts," he said waving a hand.
